Two Bridges Home Recording Studio

The Studio
About
Part of being a solo artist meant learning how to record my own music at home. I started out using garage band and software instruments but have made the jump to just putting a microphone on everything. I currently don’t have a big setup so this page is going to be small for a while. The dream is to get out of this two bedroom apartment and have a dedicated room for recording music. Step one is to find more space, step two is practice practice practice. I have a lot of songs I am working on developing and I am waiting to improve my recording and mixing skills before releasing my next album. For now, enjoy my very small recording setup!
Microphones
Primarily I use a Rode NT1 for Vocals and acoustic instruments. I had been using an SM57 for electric guitar but have started using a Sennheiser e609silver. I would love to get a Royer R-121 to pair up with it but that’s a ways off!
Audio Interface/DAW
I run everything through a Scarlett 18i20 straight into Logic Pro X on my MacBook Air.
